The store got hit a few weeks ago with a counterfeit 100 dollar bill - can you beat that? It has a strip when you hold it up to the light, but if you look closely the tiny letters say 5 and not 100 dollars. I'm wondering if they bleached a 5 and printed over it, or maybe took out that strip and embedded it in some paper?
Who knows, but if this recession continues maybe I should look into making money....
Katie (who was working that day but has since moved on to NYC, where all my good employees seem to go) felt bad about it so donated some sequined bras and hot pants left over from her boyfriends' movie that had some stripper waitresses. They sold so quickly that it seems Regeneration might do better as a Hollywood Blvd-type lingerie store.
